Remote / Telehealth Registered Nurse

As a Telehealth Nurse, you would be providing clinical assessments and recommending an appropriate level of clinical care based on protocols and your clinical judgment over the phone. This position allows you to make an impact on the lives of many patients while working from your own home every day.
As a Telehealth Nurse, you would be responsible for the following:
- Contributing to a remote inbound call center open 24/7 including holidays
- Shifts are 10 hours, covering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift
- Assessing and triaging immediate health concerns
- Identifying problems or gaps in care offering opportunity for intervention
- Coordinating services and referrals to health programs
- Providing health education and coaches consumers on treatment alternatives to assist them in best decision making
- Supporting consumers in selection of best physician and facility to maximize access, quality, and to manage heath care cost
- Preparing individuals for physician visits
- Managing utilization through education
- Special projects, initiatives, and other job duties as assigned
